I'm a hardcore gamer that finds mainstream review sites to be somewhat unreliable and biased. The highest bidder can get the best reviews in some cases. I work a 40 hour week, develop games independently for fun, and have my degree in game development. This is the viewpoint of someone that pays full price for games, and has to balance a work/life schedule. Most reviewers get paid to play and do so in a compressed timeframe skewing the experience of games. I'm the closest thing to the average gamer, and this is the site to get the point of view of that individual.
Reviews are later than the competition, but they are also the deepest.
